L'histoire d'Adele H. anamorphic status?

Could someone let me know (if you have the disc that is) whether or not the MGM edition of L'histoire d'Adele H. is anamorphic or not?

I believe that this is one of these Pan-European releases but it seems to me that not all of them are 16/9.

This one clearly indicates anamorphic on the back of the cover (sold in Switzerland)
http://www.1a-dvdshop.ch/.....but I am a bit unsure about the British edition.....I assumed they are ALL the same but...I guess not....

I am interested in the French, British, Dutch versions....any confirmation would be great.....(dvdfr.com....does not indicate anything either, onlu FNAC.COM...has it listed as 16/9).......anyhow......any info confirming the status will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunatly all the Truffauts (L'enfant sauvage, La sirene du mississippi,...) edited by MGM are in 1.66 non-anamorphic

Dear Butch,

I am aware of the review that you linked however....looked at the back cover of the version I have mentioned above....it clearly indicates ANAMORPHIC-16/9 (bottom right)....do you know anything about it?

IMDB says 1.66
The back of the French R2 says 1.85 16:9 (see alapage.com)
but CDiscount.com says 4:3 1.66

Who do you trust ?

Again all Truffauts made by MGM are 4:3
They are clone of the R1s

And if you do not trust me buy the R2 from Lichenstein, Monaco, Andorra or San Marino.

Butch,

It is not that I dont trust you....I simply wanted to confirm what is true and what is not. That's all......

Rgardless, thank you for the info (and for changing your original post).
