I just saw the video at the gym this morning on VH1. Nothing elaborate, just has Sheryl lip-synching in a canyon. She looks great, of course...

Damn.

Looks like I have to locate the International Release to get the "bonus track" featuring The Corrs.

It's not unusual for "Best of" and "Greatest Hits" albums to not include popular cover songs. The upcoming STP one is missing "Dancing Days."

Just like my letdown with STP, I'm diappointed that the version with DVD doubles the price.

to Run-DMC, Pantera, Rob Zombie and the others who include the bonus DVD for free

In the coupon book inside Best Buy's free "Coming Attractions" DVD, there's a coupon to get The Very Best of Shery Crow for $9.99

Since the coupon was printed before BB knew of a special edition, the coupon does not specify a version...

I'm hoping I can use this for the special edition and get the CD with DVD for $9.99

yep, I was thinking the same thing when I got the DVD, like a month ago, lets' try it.

[The coupon has the BAR CODE on the back, so it may be numbered to the cd only version ]

not telling us the details would be the only reason you'd burn in Hell/Purgatory...

The secret is that I went to my "favorite" cashier.... the one that barely speaks English.

She saw the words Best, Sheryl, and Crow on the CD and rang it up for 9.99.

Close but no cigar The cashier rang it up but could not get the coupon to work....for some strange reason He was just about to put it through when another cashier walked by and he asked her about entering it at $9.99...at which point she looked at the coupon and caught the "regularly $13.99" part = no sale.

is this worth picking up just for the dvd of her videos? i own all of her albums and my own mix cd is better than this compilation and i can always add the new single to a nex mix.

but sheryl's videos might make it worth the purchase. are you all happy with the dvd and do you think she'll end up releasing them again with her next concert dvd?

i wouldn't bite for the rem videos because they left off too many and i had import singles with most of the rare songs, but there are some really good videos of sheryl and if this is the only way to get them, maybe i should just pick it up.

the stp is a no brainer cause it has lots of dvd content and not just videos.

anyone here want to let me know how the dvd from "best of" turned out, is it 5.1, worth buying even if you have the songs?

thanks.

For $9.99, getting the videos was worth it -- otherwise, I say you need to be a big SC fan to dish out $24. No, they're not in 5.1. Good ol' 2.0 stereo.

Well, I tried 2 different BB stores. No one would bite on the $9.99 coupon. I went to Costco and picked up the set for $16.99. More than I wanted to spend, really, but I was done acting stupid for those BB clerks and it was only $7 difference after all. Congrats to those who got over on them.

BTW I forgot how much I like some of those videos. She looks much hotter in music videos than she does in real life. Still a pretty gal. Lance Armstrong must be a very happy man...

Just watched the DVD. What's up with the video for "A Change Would Do You Good?" I've never seen this version of it. The one I recall had Ellen DeGeneres and I believe some other celebrities in it. I know there was some sort of a cab in it, and everytime the wheel turned, the screen turned and went to a different scene. Anybody else remember this, and does anyone know why they included this bland version instead? All I can assume is that someone wouldn't give permission for it or something like that, but it seems odd not to note it in some way on the packaging, like calling it and "Alternate Version" or something like that.

I saw the DVD today and yeah this is not the version that was released. The other one was cool, this one is boring.

[the RHCP also did this on their dvd, with the video for MY FRIENDS. At least it was mentioned in the commentery, on why there was two versions and the reason why one version was preffered/left out.]
