Primus - Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People - New CD!
Is anyone getting this? I was contemplating it but I wasnt too sure since my interest in Primus has greatly lowered in the past view years as my musical taste grew. I still have the brown album and tales from the punch bowl (my fav) and listen to them once in awhile.
But I saw they were releasing a DVD with 3+ hour footage of videos and live performances as well as 5 new songs. So in reality, this new CD is really a DVD with a CD EP. I was interested in getting it but thought the price would be too much, but its on sale at Best Buy for $9.99! That price seems a bit too low and too good to be true. But I think I'll get this now since this price is way worth it for the Southboung Pachaderm, Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, Devil Went Down To Georgia videos, as well as the Woodstock performance!
Basically, if your a fan of Primus in the littlest sense, get this set and support the band, as well as this awesome CD price!

Yup, I'm getting it. I really don't like anything they've done since Punchbowl (Southbound Pachyderm!!), but the DVD seems to cover a lot of early stuff so I'll be at Best Buy tomorrow. I was actually at Woodstock '94 and I missed them! I was pretty bummed about that. Hopefully they include their 2 minute instrumental cover of Master of Puppets at that show.

WELL worth the $10 price of admission this week at WorstBuy
Heck, the videos alone could/would (i would think) fetch $10.

There is so much great stuff on this DVD, so many areas to explore. I wish they had more from that HBO Reverb special on there...the one performance on this disc is terrific.
