SPOOKS-Questions About Audio Commentary

I was curious if the BBC Region 2 (ie. UK version) of the series SPOOKS (aka MI-5) has audio commentaries on all of the episodes?

The US version is scheduled to be released in Jan 2004, and the specs call out for commentaries on all episodes.

But, the price tag is a lot more money than I can get the British version for now.

Any help RE extras on this set?

Thanks

Yes, commentary is on all episodes on the R2 set although a couple are so dull that it would’ve been better had they left those ones off.

Menus on the R2 are waaaay overdesigned and incredibly annoying but it’s about the only flaw on an otherwise excellent set.

Thanks for the info, considering that I ordered it for around $28, including shipping from Amazon.com UK, and the list price for the US version is twice that, I think the way to go is the original British version.

The same type of deal can be had on the great show THE OFFICE. The second season will be out soon in R2, and I think we finally are getting a R1 version this month.

I can't wait for S2 of The Office. Such a brilliant show! Is Spooks any good? I haven't seen it yet but have been meaning to. Worth a blind buy?

I don't think it's been announced whether the R1 DVDs will be cropped or widescreen. Or were you just referring to the TV broadcasts?
