Which is your favorite from the Sugarhill Gang?
You've seen my choices now how about you giving these great guys who in 1979, started their own type of music that 'lives' to this day! This is a multiple choice poll if you want to participate, Wonder Mike is my choice for individuals, but I like a lot of rappers who are my 'delight'.

Guys
Guys I roller skated to that song in 1979 starting a craze myself, I started the side steppers and all were saying I could twist and flex my body so well that I became the one to follow. I picked Rapper's Delight as our song to do what more and more wanted to join in. I still know every word the song has from 24 years ago. Jim my 'close' african american friend was right on my 2nd flank as he IMO could do some flexing the body almost as good
as me.
None of us matched in clothing or Roller Skating wheels just black for guys and white for gals and we got so big we had the manager call all 'off' the floor except for the side steppers. We were 'delighted' that 'like' the rappers of the Sugar Hill Gang, we had created a new way of roller skating or stepping to the beat!
as me.

It's too bad that more didn't participate there are only 8 votes and 72 lurkers, for a tribute to some great guys for starting a new craze that is just getting bigger. My rollerskating rink had disbanded as I started going to the Bethlehem "Skateaway" rink and some from the area and out of the area came to follow Jim and me on the side stepping craze started by me and The Surgar Hill Gang in 1979. The Bethlehem, PA rink started in 1981 4 years before I got into a road accident. I am listening to that OOP CD right now for the 2nd time.
