Megastar in HK just released Ken Park in Anamorphic NTSC and R3. It might turn out to be R0 for all we know. Here's a link http://www.asiandvdguide.com [scroll down].

Thanks for the info - it's a high price, but I ordered mine from xploitedcinema (hadn't heard of them before) last night. I figure if I don't want to keep it after watching it, I can find somewhere to sell it

B)Remember the asian practice of optically fogging films to obscure naughty bits.

The Asian practice of opitcally fogging films is usually only for Japanese releases.
Then again. The Hong Kong version of ICHI was butchered.
The question still remains, does anyone really know if the Hong Kong version is cut or uncut? Or is everyone just guessing and/or going on second and third hand information?

Poker Industries has this disclaimer regarding the Megastar version:
Film notes: Though the cover contains a sticker that proclaims that this release is Un-cut, it has been optically censored in areas to maintain this claim. We cannot accept returns based on the fact that the film has been optically censored.
I'll stay away from it. The Russian disc looks like a winner.

Does anyone know about the Swedish Sandrews Metronome vs. the Russian? Also, from the xploitedcinema site, it looks like the Russian one is in one of those horrible DVD box size jewel cases. Is that right? Thanks.

Sure, US releases are given crappy covers showing floating heads, while Spain gets covers showing someone giving head. Thats fair!

Pro-bassoonist...thanks for your help and introducing us to different versions. Could you say what you believe is the definitive version of this film (uncut, image/sound quality)?
If the Spanish version, where can this be found?

Thats great! Buena Vista (Disney) distributes Ken Park in Spain!
Merdalf, I'd have to say the Russian one is. Great looking 16:9 picture and English 5.1 sound. It's a couple bucks cheaper than the Spanish one too.
