Review Wanted: Initial D - Battle 1 - Akina's Downhill
Has anyone picked this up yet who has seen the original Japan release? I hear that TokyoPop butchered this version with several edits, but couldn't find any specifics.

I heard that it's pretty bad.
I read somewhere that:
*They make some cut on the storyline (natsumi's storyline of her being a call girl is cut )
*the original sound FX is gone and being replaced w/ new & 'supposedly' cooler sound FX
found a review on anime on dvd
I watched the fansub series from my friend and was looking forward for the DVD release, but now I probably won't buy it.
