Anyone own A Fish Called Wanda UK SE?
Hi. It may be silly, but I was wondering if anyone owns the UK 2-disc Special Edition of A Fish Called Wanda and can confirm that it comes in the slipcase. I've seen pics on Australian sites (the R4 is identical in features) and most show a slipcase that goes over the other cover (the slipcase has holes that show the actors faces as if they were water bubbles).
The R2 SE is currently on sale at Amazon.co.uk for £8.99 each (as originally posted by deckel in the Bargains forum).

8.99 GBP includes the VAT which is removed when you go to checkout. (but still there is shipping). I've added it to my shopping cart and will get it when I find enough values to warrant the shipping charges!
dvdcompare.net likes it as one of the many R2 choices.

As for the comparison, yeah, this one is loaded compared to the R1 release. Still wondering about the slipcase, silly as it may seem.
VAT is like the Australia GST, right? It doesn't apply to non-UK customers?
I created a bogus account to test it and it appears as though the price without VAT is £7.65. So here's what I've figured if you just order A Fish Called Wanda: Special Edition:
£8.99 - VAT = £7.65
+ £2.09 S&H per order + £0.99 per item = £10.73
- £3.00 coupon = £7.73
= $US 12.21
Does this sound right? If so, it's a great price for a loaded SE. And a UK one at that. And I'll be playing it on my soon-to-arrive Philips 727, jblackie.
NOTE ABOUT THE COUPON: If you've never ordered from Amazon.co.uk before, you should get a popup window for a £3.00 coupon. If it doesn't appear, delete your Amazon.co.uk cookie. That coupon nicely takes care of the shipping charge for one title.

I've bought two copies (one when it came out and one more recently as a present), and both came in a slipcase.
However, with these UK releases you just never know when they are gonna change it. I know that MGM changed the digipack cover of The Usual Suspects when it got discounted, and when I recently got another copy of Y Tu Mama Tambien (no MGM title though) for GBP 7.99, the collector's booklet was no longer included.

Yeah, my R1 of The Usual Suspects doesn't have the orange slipcase. I wanted it. Oh well.
