Shelby Lynne "Identity Crisis"
Has anybody heard the new Shelby Lynne record?
It came out Sept. 16.
Apparently she wrote and produced the whole thing herself.

Hmmm, well hopefully it's much more like "I Am..." than "Love, Shelby". The former is one of my fave CDs and I'm typically not into this kind of music.

Well, I just listened to all the snippets linked at Amazon:

and if they are any indication (they're so dern short it's hard to tell) it sounds pretty good, pretty good.

well, they probably don't have the studio gloss that hitmaker Glen Ballard provided last time out.
I'm hoping for a more organic sound for Shelby.

I don't have much to contribute to this thread, having only heard one of her songs, and not really remembering it.
