Britney on the cover of Maxim, er, Rolling Stone again

This is, what, her third or fourth time to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone? I believe that's a record. Especially given she's only been around for a few years. Could this magazine get any worse?

So Britney on the cover is a bad thing?

John Mayer was scheduled to be on this cover. But I guess they threw Britney on because of the Madonna kiss.

I hope he wasn't planning on using the same pose.

I'm very much in favor of this. Since I've written off this publication long ago as any type of serious music journalism, they may as well just make it pictures of hot chicks.

O.K. I'll give you that. But enough of Britney already. And how is she going to top herself on the next cover. Two band-aids and a cork?

Speaking of stupid, did anyone happen to catch Justin Timberlake on "The Ellen Show" last week? No? Well, Ellen was talking to him about her fear of snakes. So, when she was 12, she bought one to see if that would help curb that fear. But then she had to feed it mice. Justin said to her "Wow, was that dramatic for you?".

Since the music industry is focused more on how you look than what you sing, I'm not surprised by all the Britney covers.

How ironic to have "The 2003 Hot List" next to someone who was popular a few years ago.

RS is a bunch of BS these days. The covers have been horrible: Americans Idols, Olson Twins and now Britney again. Perhaps J.Lo and Ben will be on the next cover and down in a little square on the bottom right will be a picture of Johnny Cash!

The reviews are questionable as well. Aimee Mann and Pete Yorn got 2 stars for their latest CDs while corporate creation Hillary Duff got 3 stars.

That's funny.

My copy never arrived in the mail.

Hmmm. Wonder why?

You think they'll actually have a picture of him?
