how's the DTS on the R3 Black Hawk Down?

Is it much better than the Dolby Digital? I would expect it to be one of the best DTS tracks yet. I'm still trying to decide whether to import this buy the current R1 3 disk release?

I do prefer the DTS track to the DD one, but what I really did like was the improvement in detail with the transfer. That said, the commentaries are supposed to be very good on the R1, so I'm actually considering getting that one as well. I'd just go for the R1 unless you are an audio/video nut.

Get the r3 and then get the r1 SE from Columbia House. Make your own box set!

So the commentaries didn't make it on the r3 Superbit?

Superbits don't have extra features on the film disc (at least, very rarely). No comms on the r3, to make room for the dts.

That's too bad. I thought maybe the commentaries might have made it since the other extras did.
