Malata N996 problems with HK Karaoke Subtitles?
I've been having problems with watching the new media asia Karaoke DVDs (with the removable karaoke subs) on my malata n996. This is the one that couldn't be upgraded, so it's default is always on R1. I have to clear this one to watch other region films.
The problem is that the subs appear for about 1 second everytime the each line is done. So I don't really get to read/sing along with the singer.
This happens with only the new Media Asia discs, which include Jordan Chan's 2003, Andy Lau Proud of You, and Kelly Chen Dynacarnival.
Other DVD players work fine with these discs, except for the malata n996. Does anyone know of any fixes? Does anyone know if the newer versions of the malata dvd players work with these karaoke discs?
