Final Fantasy Tactics GBA Commercial?
WHat is up with the FFT GBA Commercial?
I saw this tonight and the other night on tech tv during the screensavers.
The commercial is people dressed up as the characters saying the people of (whatever the setting of fft is i forget) are waiting for your call. call 1866ply2win
they have like 3 people dressed up and they say some stuff and call now.
then they show the gba-sp and the game.
whats up with this? it seems wierd to me.

hahah!
Yeah I saw that too. It was really weird. Especially for FFT. When it was over I was like "what the hell?" bizarre, not exactly what I was expecting.
sooooo what happens when you call that number?

When you call the number you have the option of speaking with Marche, Ritz, and Mewt...the 3 main characters in FFTA. They each give some info about their character and that they need your help. It's pretty comical. The commercial is weird...kinda reminds me of the FFVI commercial Nintendo did back in 1994. I can't wait for this game to be released!

My friend got an early copy and I tried it out, since I kinda like these types of games.. it takes like 40 minutes before you get to do anything; very, very POOR decision for a GAMEBOY game. I guess people in Japan must reallu love imaginary people talking to each other for hours on end.

Hmmm I played an import copy at my local game store. It was all in Japanese and I couldn't understand what I was doing but after pressing the 'A' button repeatedly for about 2 minutes I was in a snowball war. So, I wouldn't say it was 40 minutes before you got to do anything.

It does take a while before you can at least save to turn off your GBA.. took me about 20 minutes.. 40 seems high, but I guess it could feel like 40 to some.
