I'm guessing the deleted animation is the one thats on the Fantasia Legacy set.

Does that mean Sorcerer's Apprentice is on this upcoming set?

"The Making Of Mickey's Christmas Carol"? Does that mean Mickey's Christmas Carol is on this set? (Or was that established already? I'm kinda tired right now ^^;)

Yes. Mickey's Christmas Carol is on there. I, for one, could not be happier about that!! I watched that as a kid every Christmas and still have my worn out VHS copy.

I get a little disapointed that people (like myself) who collect all the disney classics and treasures sets are faced with so much redundancy.

Deleted Animation From The Sorcerer's Apprentice is on the Fantasia disc

Mickey Meets The Maestro is just going to be the Mickey clips from Fantasia

And, both Mickey Cartoon Physics From Plausible Impossible and Mickey On The Camera Stand From Tricks Of Our Trade are on the Inside the Walt Disney Studios DVD

It will be if the Halloween Special was produced between 1934 and 1941. If not, wait for volume two.

How many Donald Duck volumes will there be if they release all his material?

I believe there will be a total of four Mickey volumes (the last being a set of B&Ws).

The cover for Mickey Vol 2 runs up until 1995.

Joey, he meant "total" - 2 volumes of Living Color and 2 of Black and White. I'm guessing 3 or 4 Donald volumes too.

I thought the B & W Mickey Mouse shorts were all on the B & W Years box set? I don't know how many were produced in all. For that total, I'll have to ask my friends Disney experts and authors Brian Sibley and Richard Hollis.

two things:

1. Does anyone have a full list of all the shorts on this DVD? Will Runaway Brain be one of them?

2. FYI: Mickey's Christmas Carol is already on DVD; it's on the House of Mouse Christmas DVD (Snowed in at the House of Mouse, I Believe). It's the entire film, although the opening credits sequence is missing.

I may have just answered my own question.... sorry for not researching first...

But the DVD indicates "Originally released between 1939 and 1995". And Runaway Brain was released with the live action movie "A Kid in King Arthur's Court", which was released in 1995!!!!

Here's to praying that I'm right...

Can anyone confirm exactly which cartoons will be on this set? All the online retails I look at list all the "extras"--including Disney.com--but not the cartoons themselves...

"Uncharacteristic Behaviors Introduction" and "Stereotypes Introduction"

I love that they've given them names.

Does anyone have concrete dates on these Walt Disney Treasures sets? I've seen different dates at Amazon that I have seen at other places.

Official date for all four is May 18.

from Disney's official DVD site:

"Walt Disney Treasures: Introducing four new limited-series volumes on DVD May 18....."

I think Amazon just needs to update again...

check out my Disney DVD site for all upcoming Disney DVDs:
