Problems with DVD XCopy XPress
Help! I am a newbie when it comes to backing up my DVDs.
Although I can copy most movies fine with DVD XCopy XPress, some newer titles such as LOTR 2 Towers and Animal House cannot be read to my computer. Any explanations or suggestions?
Thanks!

This is really not the place to ask about "backing up" your DVDs.
Putting a DVD9 like LOTRs on a 4.7GB DVDR seems impossible to me without compressing the hell out of the image or spliting it up on two discs. Doesn't seem worth the trouble to me to spend hundreds of dollars (It would cost me over a thousand dollars to do all of mine) backing up DVDs that will last longer than the DVDRs you are backing them up to. I'll spend that money better on new DVDs.

How about giving DVD Talk's rules another look? The copyright/DMCA part should be of particular interest.
