I love Saved by the Bell as much as the next guy, assuming the next guy loves Saved by the Bell, but...yeah, a blind buy it's not. I'm a little over a quarter of the way through the set and am having a blast, but I grew up with the series... I couldn't imagine being 24 and trying to take it on its own for the first time.

Yeah, I don't know if I would recommend this as a blind buy either. I just did and watched the first few episodes and find it kinda...cheesy. I guess if you watched this as a kid, and enjoyed it, it's good for nostalgia value, but watching it for the first time did nothing for me. Oh well, I guess not all blind buys can be hits. I've been served very well with my 24, Buffy, Angel & King of The Hill blind buys, so I'm not complaining!

As with most TV box sets, this is gonna be a blind buy for me. I hope it's good!

Like most kid shows from the 80's or any time really, if you didn't watch it back then or didn't catch it in syndication a couple years later, then you probably won't greet it with such open arms. The only reason I can sit through any of these is because I've seen all of them way too many times thanks to TBS and at one time, WGN. There are a couple lines that are actually funny (even to someone who's never seen them), but those usually come from Screech, Mr. Belding, or Mr. Dewey (anything that guy says is gold, I tell ya).

A BLIND BUY???? Oh man, are you sure? It's one of the worst TV series ever. Only kids who watched it when they were 7 or 8 could sit through even one entire episode.
Honw many seaons of SBTB were there anyway?

Yeah, I'm not sure if this one is the ideal blind buy. I'd suggest watching a few of these episodes on cable before buying it. It's really hit or miss.
