The Two Towers: Most anticipated release?

I have never gotten excited over a dvd release before but I find myself doing just that in anticipation of Tuesdays release of The Two Towers.

Am I alone?

Maybe it's because I'm recently unemployed and don't have anything better to do right now. :P

My local Best Buy (Sterling, VA) will be opened from midnight to 1:00 AM tomorrow night specifically to sell TTT DVD. I have already planned to be there and call in sick on Tuesday. Hopefully, they will also sell Stitch the movie that night.

I think I'm the one who is alone. For me Mr. Show: The Complete 3rd Season is about the most excited I ever was for a new release.

I'll share your excitement when the extended edition comes out later on. There a lot of other DVDs I'm WAY more excited about coming out this Tues, than TTT.

I waited from Chungking Express for five years. I had to wait for a (legit) Two Towers copy for a matter of months...it's not biggy. Already have my pre-order in on the EE.

It appears that many Best Buy stores will be participating in this midnight sale. I know mine will be (Beaverton, OR), and it is even advertised in their Sunday paper insert. You should probably check with your local store to see if they are participating.

Last year, I almost went crazy waiting for FOTR to come out, but now that I've seen the glory of the Extended Editions, I can only hope November gets here soon.

I share your anticipation, but I am only buying the EE so my wait will continue for a couple of months.

Kind of sorta (I found out the place I ordered it from shipped it Friday so hopefully I'll have it tomorrow , I think I'm going to wait until Labor Day though and rewatch Fellowship and then TT)... personally I'm in more "anticipation" of the announcement of B5 season 4 & 5 and further SG1 releases.

Nope. I hate the LOTR films...

However, my most anticipated release is the Indiana Jones Trilogy!!! The Lion King is a close second...

If it was the extended edition I would be apart of the excitement. As it is I'm content with the screener and completely forgot that this week was it's release.

I'm getting the DVD but it's not even close to my most anticipated release. I haven't even seen the movie but liked the first one and got a good deal on this one.

I'm much more anticipating:

Indiana jones
Finding Nemo
Lion King
Disney Treasures Mickey & Donald
Looney Tunes Gold
Friends Season 5
Duel
Wiseguy

*sigh*

I just don't know.. I waited and bought the EE of LOTR:FOTR, but I only midly enjoyed the first one...I saw LOTR:TTT and I loved it - so now I'm debating if I really want to wait or if I just want to double dip and buy 'em both.. Argh!!

...my...precious...

TTT:EE and ROTK:EE (even if I haven't seen it!) are my most anticipated along with Seinfeld, whenever it comes out!
