Honestly, I'm a huge 'Batman' fan but I still have no interest in see'ing this movie. Beyond the hardcore "bat-fans" there isn't much interest in 'Catwoman' as an actual movie.
Not to mention Halle Berry's attitude towards comic based movie's makes me even less interested in anything she does....

There should be some rule about playing more than one comic book character...
Mind you, I'm looking forward to Catwoman. Pitof's visuals and the presence of Owen Wlson, adding life to the most banal of scripts? Why not.

Yeah, it's tough to say at this point. I'm not even sure when it will be released. If it got a summer release, I guess I could see it doing a decent $100 million (a la Daredevil). But that's just one possibility.
I know people here generally don't like Hale Berry, so I wouldn't expect many people here looking forward to it.

I though Ashley Judd, one of the earlier actresses up for the role, was a better choice. They nixed Michelle because they're hoping to turn it into a franchise and wanted an actress who they could sign for a multi-picture deal.
I haven't really paid much attention to talk about the movie's plot. Did they really say the character had nothing to do with the comic or did they just say that the project was taking place outside the realm of Batman (kind of like the way Supergirl was still Supergirl but she didn't ever meet up with Superman in her movie)?
