How would I get the best bang for my buck with 80 dollars in Amazon GCs?

There are tons of different box sets I want to buy

Simpsons 1
Simpsons 2
Simpsons 3
Family Guy 2
Indiana Jones
Band of Borthers

etc. etc.

But how would I go about spening my 80 dollars worth of free money in the most cost-effective way possible? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Obviously, this decision is too tramatic for you. Send all your GCs to me and I'll rid you of this stress.

If you can use the GCs at Amazon.ca, use them there on newer box sets. Got Babylon 5 Season 3 for USD$59.

Unfortunatley, you cannot use US GCs at amazon.ca.

I would look into getting the sets that are Pre-Order (these are
usually 35% off). Most of their released sets are 25% off so you can usually get a better deal elsewhere.

Start the trivia thing if you already haven't (every nickel helps) to get up to 10% off. Ask for Share the Love (STL) to get another 10% off. Not much else you can do unless you want to hold on to all or some of the GCs and hope for a coupon sometime soon...

I had this same dilemma a couple weeks ago. I had ~$80 in GC's and it was such a tough decision. I went with things that I wanted but normally wouldn't buy because of the price.

I decided on Toy Story: The Ultimate Toy Box and Rushmore Criterion.

Not too bad, I got $5.95 back on Toy Story with STL. I sent love to everyone requesting it on the dvdtalk STL page www.dvdtalk.com/stl/ and someone bought it. Used it to order the Indiana Jones set for $34.99.

If you go into the appropriate thread in the DVD Bargains forum and ask for someone to Share the Love, you can get The Simpsons (Season 3) and Indiana Jones both for about $70 shipped.

Throw in a few trivia nickels and you may be able to add Family Guy Set 2 to the order and only have to throw in a couple of bucks. Not too shabby for $80.

I'm in the same boat ($80 in GC). I thought about using them on 3 (of the 4) upcoming Walt Disney Treasures titles:

o The Chronological Donald
o Mickey Mouse in Living Color 2
o Walt Disney on the Front Lines

The downside is that these don't come out until 12/2 With STL and Triva, I might have enough left over to get another non-CH title such as Finding Nemo or The Lion King.

There is a whole forum for Share The Love.
It's a sub forum under Bargains so you should see a link to it near the top of the Bargains page. It is also in the pull down menu at the top of all forum pages.

Some people use the STL forum, but I find that too tedious.
Most people use the STL database here: http://www.dvdtalk.com/stl/index.pl
