Most emotional moment in animated television history?

What is, in your opinion, the most emotional moment in animated television history?

When the Kool-Aid guy bursts through the courthouse wall in the premiere of The Family Guy. I do believe I wet myself.

Toss-up between "Daddy" on "The Simpsons" and the end of the "Futurama" episode about Frye's brother.

Grave of the fireflies was quite a tearjerker. Won't spoil it though.

Those were both awesome....also, the episode where Leela discovered her heritage.

I agree, but I wouldn't consider it television.

Just reading a synopsis of the Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark" makes me tear up a little bit, so I imagine that the episode itself is pretty darn emotional...

Even though it wasn't real, the episode of Batman TAS where Barbara was having a nightmare about Bruce and Tim being hunted by Gordon is pretty intense.

The episode of Family Guy where Peter is being a sanctimonious ass (more than usual) towards Brian, and Brian says, "I'll be out on the veranda, since you're already on the cross." I think I nearly cracked my jaw on the floor with that one.

And when Bart is trying to hatch the eggs in his treehouse, it's nice to see a glimmer of humanity in him.

What's that old Looney Tunes with the great big, burly bulldog "adopting" a teeny-tiny cat? The dog loses it when he thinks the cat got turned into a cookie. When the dog scolds the cat and the kitty just purrs and makes a bed in his flab is a neat little emotional moment. I think it's called "Pet the Kitty", or something like that.

In Batman:TAS, thought the Mr. Freeze intro episode was great and pretty moving. Even my sister in law, who doesn't like batman or animation, saw it and at the end said "that is sooo sad".
There were other great moving moments in Batman :TAS though.

The one that got to me as a kid was "I am now...an Autobot!". Y'know, from that Skyfire/Jetfire episode. There are more recent ones from B:TAS and The Simpsons, but that's the earliest one.

I think most of these have been supplied by The Simpsons.

The one that impressed me the most is the one where Homer is telling the story of when Maggie was born:

Spoiler:
The family is looking thru the photo album and Bart asks why there are no pictures of Maggie. Homer tells the story about how (a year ago) he was able to quit his hated job at the power plant, and start working his dream job at the bowling alley. He is horrified when Marge tells him that she's pregnant. Throughout the pregnancy, Homer is angry and resentful, as once the baby comes he'll have to give up the bowling alley job for something paying better. Homer is miserable right up until Maggie is born and he gets a look at her. With no other choice, Homer goes back to the power plant to grovel for his job back. Burns gives it to him, and installs a huge plaque in Homer's office that says 'DON'T FORGET, YOU'RE HERE FOREVER". At the end of the story Bart says, 'That dosen't explain why there's no pictures of Maggie in the album'. And Homer says, 'They're where I need them most'. Then the final shot is in Homer's office where dozens of photos of Maggie are hanging up, obscuring the plaque so it now reads 'DO IT FOR HER'

The most amazing thing to me is how the entire episode of was goofy and silly, and just in the last five seconds, with one shot, they switched gears into something terribly touching, and actually brought a tear to my eye.

For me it was Gundam 0080 War in Pocket toward the very end:
Spoiler:
Where Bernie and Chris fought one another and didn't realize it and the end result had tragic consequences for all involved especially for AL since he found out what war really is

Second episode of Stand Alone Complex, the final scenes.

The only one I can think of is the the episode of Futurama with Fry's Dog. That one really got to me.
Jesus Christ yes. I mean oh my ****ing god, it's like why? why? why? why? I couldn't belive it.

The ending for Leela's heritage episode did it to me too.

I've only seen like 10 episodes of Futurama, but if there are more like this, then hats off to them. The Simpsons, even though it used to have touching scenes, never even went that far.
