So do both versions come with the soundtrack? The link makes it sound like only the 5 disc version does, but fails to say what is on the 4th disc, and the picture in both of them shows the soundtrack as the 4th disc.
I'd really like to have seen them release the commentary tracks as mp3s or something. The set looks awesome, but I still can't decide if I want to forego three very good sounding commentary tracks. Any suggestions?

Having said that as the other discs are the same as the R1 there is still a multitude of background and additional information and coupled with a substantially better cover art doesn't make it an easy choice at all.
If you had to 'pin' me to an answer though i'd say stick with the R1 and pick up the inevitable R1 'Superbit' if the DTS is a substantial improvement.

This is a smidge cheaper and free shipping if you order $40.

I wish I hadn't bought the R1 version recently or this would be a no-brainer...

Yes it is eligible for free shipping.
But please go and read see detail.
Just like people said, there is minimum purchase. It used be $49 and now it is $39.
I hope this would help.

Hmm...my mistake then.
Why would they say that it's eligible for free shipping when it doesn't meet the requirement???
Regardless...i can't justify buying this movie a third time. I haven't even gotten around to watching the other one yet. I LOVE DTS...but it can wait.

It's like Amazon...some items are eligible for free shipping...and some ain't.
It's just letting you know that it could be shipped free [if the minimum $$$ is met...]
[hijack]
does anyone know of any other r3 disc worth getting to meet the $39 minimum..?
