Spongebob Season Sets to DVD!!!

This just in from DVDFile.com

Rounding out Paramount's TV offerings is SpongeBob SquarePants: The Complete First Season. Arriving on October 28th, all episodes are presented in 4:3 full screen and Dolby 2.0 surround with plentiful extras, including featurettes, "SpongeBob SquarePants Secrets," storyboards and more to be announced. Retail is $49.95.
This is great news!

I haven't bought the other dvd's with hopes of season sets, thank God!

I'M READY! I'M READY! I'M READY!

The kids have been pestering me to get the current SBSP releases, and I've been having to tell them we couldn't get them, without telling them why. I knew these were coming soon, and perfect timing for birthday presents

How many season are there? Anytime I watch the show I always seem to be watching one I've already seen.

It was posted on here about a month ago, but I forget the origin of the news. I have two of the Spongebob DVDs and stopped buying them in hopes of a season set. I just wish now I hadn't bought the first two!

Boy, with Transformers, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and now Spongebob, this is a great time for animation sets on DVD! Now if only some other companies (I am looking in your direction, Paramount and Warner) would get the clue and release more animation in season sets, the world would be a happier place.

$49.95!? How many episodes is season 1? The price seems a little expensive. I wont be getting this for that price considering I already have the other DVDs.

You pay full SRP for DVDs? Where do you shop? Suncoast?

I bet this will be cheaper the day it comes out, and online.

I have bought three of the dvds already released, which i don't really regret since they are a lifesaver when it comes to my kids(my daughter is two and God forbid we have no Spongebob saved on the TIVO). When the season set comes out I'll just let my kids keep the other Spongebob discs in their room and leave the season sets with the rest of our collection. I would always rather have complete seasons than just random episode discs but i won't complain when they release those kinda discs. I bought the Married with Children "Best of" as well, just because they contain some of my favorite episodes and i'm happy just to have a few episodes on DVD. I guess the same goes with Spongebob. But hey, i'm psyched, bring on the Season Sets.

You know my favourite SpongeBob episode is the one about the MAGIC CONCH SHELL. It's where SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidwards got lost somewhere.

In hopes they would find ways of surviving and getting rescued,

SpongeBob asks the magic conch shell and pull its string: "Magic conch shell what should we do?"

Magic conch shell replies: "NOTHING!"

So SpongeBob and Patrick just simply sit around the conch shell staring into space doing nothing.. hehe..

I think that episode by far the best one I've seen.
