That dosen't sync up with the info that was on DavisDVD a few days back.. they had it listed as

5 discs, running time 1046 minutes

which would work out to 22 eps @ 47 minutes each (1st season run time).

Season 1 - 22 eps
Season 2 - 26 eps
Season 3 - 22 eps

so someone is in error (either DVDFile or DavisDVD)

Actually, I though the first and second seasons were around 13 episodes each, and debuted in the US on CBS Late Night. The third season began in the US a few years later was syndicated to local stations, and was 22 shows. The fourth and final year aired on the USA Network and in Syndication and was also 22 shows. That adds up to 70 episodes at least. Also, did these air in Canada or overseas earlier?

(Edit: I wasn't sure if CBS had split up the first season into two years or not. Perhaps they ran a first batch and then repeated those before running the rest, and the gap seemed longer to me than it really was. That's why I though it was 4 seasons in the US).

I wonder if there's any chance of getting the "uncut" Canada airings, or both pilots.

I don't know where you got that info.... there were three seasons and three seasons only... Season 1 CBS, Season 2 Syndication, Season 3 Syndication/USA Network

Also, for the 1st season of 22 episodes, they ran 46:30 (avg) minutes each for the 'international' market (Canada included), Seasons 2 and 3 ran (avg) 44:30 each.

Season 1 had Gary Farmer as Captain Stonetree

Season 2 had Natsuko Ohama as Captain Cohen, she and Schanke were killed off in the opening of Season 3

Season 3 had Blu Mankuma as Captain Reese and brought in Lisa Ryder as Tracey Vetter

So, there were three and only 3 seasons.

Here's the season by season breakdown with original air dates

I'm really worried about this 15 episode thing. They're calling it Part 1 of a Trilogy, so does that mean Parts 2 and 3 are also going to have 15 episodes? That leaves us 25 episodes short of a complete set. That's not good.

Ask and ye shall receive. (from tvshowsondvd.com)

Also note that the back cover says there are 22 episodes included, which is the entire first season.

That MSRP is amazing. I've never seen the show, but at that price, I'll be checking it out.

I want.

I am glad they are putting this out. Hopefully they will put out all 3 seasons.

The cover is pretty nice too, better than I would have expected.

Now...where is my Friday the 13th the Series? Then I will be complete (well not really...but close )

Is this about the vampire cop? I vaguely remember liking this, but it's been years.

Totally! I was going to mention Friday the 13th as well in my post. There is something about these three shows which does it for me.

FYI, the MSRP was incorrectly reported as $29.99 (I knew that sounded too good to be true) and is actually $79.99. Some sites have already changed the price, but others (amazon, as of the time of this post) haven't. I'm sure they'll raise the price soon, and anyone who preordered will probably have to pay the higher price, but I'm still glad I already placed my order.

Well,, it's worth a shot. We'll see what happens. (And I guarantee that Columbia Home Video would sell a hell of a lot more of these at the 29.99 price than they will at 79.99!)

Looks like Amazon changed their price to around $59.

Did anyone that had it preordered from them for $29 get it bumped to the higher price?
