Universal has removed "Tales From The Crypt" from the 2 Movies

I just looked at the new Uni covers for Demon Knight & Bordello Of Blood & they've removed the "Tales From The Crypt presents" title. Hopefully they didn't remove it from the actual movie, both covers do still have the Crypt Keeper featured on them, so at least they're not removing him. By the way they are not using the original poster art for Bordello, they have a zoomed in version to eliminate the Leg

Hmm, maybe Universal's deal with whoever owns the rights to E.C. is up. Strange.

Unless you're looking a different version than I am, they have *NOT* removed the title.

It's very small, but is on the top/center of each cover. At least it is on the pics I've seen (and the ones on Universal's own site).

he must have been looking at slightly different pics, because it is indeed on the covers I posted above, and the Bordello one is SIGNIFICANTLY different than the other covers....

That's a seriously awful cover for Bordello of Blood. They should've just used the original poster art but I guess Universal couldn't resist going with the Big Heads like everybody else.

Obiously due to the immense star power those two actors will draw.

Wow. Those new covers look like ass. The new "Demon Knight" and "Bordello of Blood" logos look terrible.

And the big heads on "BoB"... yeesh.

Why is it studios feel the need to tinker witht he artwork every time out? While it isn't as bad as some changes, I still think it's odd they changed the Demon Knight logo from the cool retro horror lettering to the generic Impact-looking font. I know it's just a cover, but I just don't understand the reasoning in first place. Big heads at least make sense in a skewed marketing sense of logic (although I disagree with that logic), but generic-icizing (for lack of a real word) the font doesn't make sense on any level.

Not to mention the tint of the book on the cover of 'Demon Knight' is now blue instead of green!

God, that sucks! While the movies aren't necessarily high art, I thought they were a lot of fun, and really loved the posters/covers! Geez, does this mean I'll actually hold onto my VHS copies just to have the original art? hmm...

Awesome. Just means I'll get Demon Knight for dirt cheap.
