scarface question

i was wondering if al pacino dies in scarface. i remember seeing a preview where he is shot with a double barrell shotgun but it didn't show him die or anything. (i haven't seen the movie yet)

Either way, it has been on dvd for a while already, so if you really did want to see this you could simply RENT this.. or do you HATE RENTING..... HATE RENTING...HATE RENTING...
