Amanda Byrnes peace sign is gone from the DVD cover!
I just noticed this, but the WHAT GIRL WANTS original ads had her giving a peace sign (see, she is American, saying peace in front of them stuffy brit guards), I found the ad amusing, but the DVD cover, her hand is awkwardly down, looks really weird. What gives?

It was changed, actually, just before theater release. Posters that were already put up, as well as other advertising materials that had already gone out, but newer posters and print ads were changed.
Before:
After:
And yes, it was changed because of the military action and overpatriotism.

Who cares what her right arm is doing? Does no one else find it disturbing that she has no left arm in that photo?

I am cancelling my preorder !!!!!!1111!!!!1111!!
Oh wait, I never did preorder this movie or care about it at all.
Seriously, to be concerned about a watermark in a cartoon is one thing, but to get hung up about an Amanda Bynes movie?

I don't think this is a case of political correctness... I think with our current administration in the US. peace is just not fashionable anymore... be glad they didn't put her on the cover holding a nuke... or a sign that says kill all Arabs. This is entirely lame!

As for the film, I assume it is about as exciting as FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY?

In other words, it was a business decision.
