Arbuckle & Keaton?
I am interested in the Arbuckle & Keaton films and I see that Kino has a 2 volume set out; and Image has a 2 disc set out. (The Image is about half the price). Does anyone out there have an opinion of which set to get? I already have the Buster Keaton box set by Kino, and love it. I think I'm leaning toward the Image set because of the price, but I hear the Kino has better music; The Alloy Orhcestra.

As an ardent silent film collector, I have a lot of both Keno and Image. I find anything that David Shepard has a hand in to be pretty good. Also, in reviews of the new Chaplin Warner Brothers releases, I have read that the video of "Limelight" is inferior to the earlier Image release.
Along those lines, I also have several of the Image Keaton DVDs and I find them to be excellent.

Region 1 Chaplin
Yes, I am very disturbed that the region 1 Chaplin that just came out was a crude transfer from the PAL release. How could they do that to us? Maybe I'll just break down and get a region free player and get the region 2 release.

I have the Image set and it's great. Unless you're a super completist, you should be very happy with it...
