Why didn't they make a sequel for Starman?
A beautiful movie with nice music and Jenny Hayden teaching Starman all the things he need to know.
Why oh why don't they make sequels about movies like these, instead of murderers like Hannibal Lector? I think the world would be a better place if we had our teenagers, watching sci-fi without all the junk they put in today to get some sex or foul languagein to spoil it.
I know there was a short lived TV series but I was thinking along the line of movie sequels. I thnk this was one of John Carpenters finest movies.

On the region 2 dvd commentary they talk about a sequel.
I think if they had their way bridges and carpenter would
make a sequel.
I would love to see the return of jennie hayden, and the onslaught on our teenagers regaining humanity as taught
by someone who is not.
I remember the t.v. series. It wasn't as good as it could have been.
