My new arcade game!! Wonder Boy 2!
WHEE!! SO HAPPY!! Sort of.. my new board came in tonight, and I hooked it up to the Neo Geo cabinet and it works, MINUS THE FREAKING SOUND!! GAH!!
Okay, here's a pic of the game in action:
One of the best action/adventure games ever made..
Here's a page I've been working on about the game for those interested (very early progress):

Okay, but really this no sound thing upsets me. .I spent $71 on the board ($19 shipping, jerk), and $55 for a JAMMA adapter..
Can anybody give me a hand? dek?

BTW.. Super Auction updated thier site!!
Dallas/Mesquite Auctions on August 16th, October 18th, and December 13th!! If anybody wants to meet up let me know.. I'll be looking for a cabinet to put my new board in (can't hog the roommate's Neo Geo forever).. also I'd really like to tear apart and rework a cabinet, sounds like fun.

That is such a sweet cabinet. Where did you order that from again.. It comes complete right, then you just gotta buy the boards or whatever. (Sorry to step on this thread)

www.arcade-infinity.com has them.. yup comes complete.. just need JAMMA compatible boards (or in my case, a non-JAMMA board with an adapter).

Cool! I wish I had the money and space to buy arcade games like you do.
Did you know they are doing a remake of the original Wonderboy? Well not really a remake but actually a re-release with upgraded graphics and sound, kind of like the Super Mario Advance series.

Hah!! Well.. I don't really have that much extra money.. 
My roommate shelled the expensive part (the cabinet)..
A remake of Wonderboy? Again..? That game has already been remade a bunch.. first it was Adventure Island for Nintendo, then Super Adventure Island for SNES, and New Adventure Island for Turbo Grafx.. now if they made a remake of Wonder Boy 2 I would scream like a little girl in glee.
