R2 or R4 ROLLERBALL (1975), better transfer than R1?

R2 or R4 ROLLERBALL (1975), better transfer than R1?
Hey, Jonathan.e! Where are you? I know you'd know the answer to this one.
I'm getting tired of waiting for the promised R1 re-visit of ROLLBERALL (1975). Besides wanting that Harrison commentary, the transfer on the original DVD was from a fairly dirty source.
I know the R2 (MGM) and R4 (Fox) releases are anamorphic, but I'm wondering if the transfers are from a better source, as well.
if they're from that same dirty source, I'll keep waiting...
