"In a Glass Cage" finally on the calendar!

Cult Epics has been working on Agustin Villaronga's corrosive drama for quite a while. It is now slated for Sept. 2.

This movie is a nasty piece of work. Still, I can't wait. Thanks for the heads up!

One of many films that I'm very surprised ever made it to R1 DVD.

I'm not surprised at all. It's a cult item often compared to the considerably more well-known Salo (To which I think it is far superior). Sure, bible-belt mentalities won't go anywhere near the film, but connoisseurs of "dark" (extremely dark) films will lap it up.

It's a PAL transfer with no time correction if the running time is to be believed.
