Odd & quirky comedy recommendations
Like the title says I'm looking for some recommendations for comedies that are are a bit odd, quirky, dark, etc... Let's just say that fits my sense of humor much more than your typical Hollywood slapstick stuff. I like a bit of edge or some absurdity to my comedy. I also don't mind if the movie is mostly a drama, or something else, just as long as it has it's fair share of odd comedy. The movies also need to be available on R1 DVD... but please do include foreign films if they're available in R1.
I've seen too many many movies of this sort to list, but I'll give you a short list of the movies I've seen in the past couple weeks as examples of the kind of stuff I'm looking for:
Rat
Secretary
The Foul King (Korean)
I should also mention that I've got all the current Terry Gilliam releases, so there's no need to recommend Gilliam stuff.
Any recommendations?

personally I think fake over the top gore is hilarious, so if you are a fan of "so bad it's good" movies, I would highly recommend Riki-Oh the Story of Ricky, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, or any Peter Jackson movie LOTR excluded
for none gore I suggest Suicide Kings, or The 'Burbs

I'll second The House of Yes (although I didn't like it very much, it sounds like it's exactly what you're looking for), and also give a call out for Clockwatchers.

Another shout out for Wet Hot American Summer and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
The scene in Killer Klowns where the alien klown makes a shadow puppet of a dinosaur and then....well, I won't spoil it for ya....is hilarious. As is the puppet theater scene. Never laughed so hard in my life when my friend and I had some drinks and watched that one night.
I've always been partial to the John Ritter/Jim Belushi movie Real Men. I caught it once on HBO years back and even though I absolutely hate both Ritter and the lesser Belushi brother, I loved its sense of humor. Just saw it again the other day on cable and remembered how much I loved it.
"Who are those clowns?"
