Disney's Brother Bear. Anyone excited?

I've seen quite a few previews for this lately, and even though
I'm a fan of animation, and I don't want to see the end of the
hand drawn craft, but it looks like this one might be the nail in
the coffin.

Any thoughts on this one?

I wouldn't necessarily say I was "excited"...but the animation looks good, don't know about the music & I think the story has potential...i'll check it out.

I did chuckle at the end of the trailer I saw before Pirates Of the Caribbean. One of the two moose [meese?] says the trite "If you see only ONE movie this year..." tag. But the other one says "well, that pretty much ruins it since a movie is about to begin in two minutes".

This is almost exactly how I feel. This movie could very well be the death of hand-drawn animation. It just doesn't look all that special or exciting to me, and I know I'm not the only one who is not the least bit interested in this film.

Looks like a traditional "feel good" disney flick. I hope it's better than the trailer suggests... "magically transformed into a bear"? sheesh.

Why would Disney ever have a film with the word Bear in it? People will just assume it has something to do with The Country Bears.

Typical Disney cartoon... looks decent enough... the moose are funny (Bob and Doug MacKenzy), the plot sounds kinda dumb though. I don't think this will be the end of hand-drawn stuff at all. Even if this movie tanks, they'll still make animation like this for decades to come.

If it weren't for the two Mackenzy Moose at the end of the trailer, I would have little interest in this movie at all.

none whatsoever, Disney's retread into the talking animal realm is overrused and tiring.

Looks like I will be seeing this on DVD in about 5 months.

I do like the story, but I am not going to pay money to see it when I can buy it on DVD soon.

The movie I am going to take my whole family to is Spy Kids 3D: Game Over. It will cost me about $40 to see the movie, and thats OK because we have seen the other two and really enjoy these movies.
