Reminder: Futurama's final eps. begin airing 7/13

As always- this is FOX, so things can change. They could decide to drag out the season 4 episodes to a 6th season or something.

7/13- Spanish Fry
7/20- Bend Her
7/27- Obsoletely Fabulous
8/3- Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV
8/10- The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings

Wasn't there another 'final ep' that they showed a couple of weeks ago? So that about be 6 unaired eps that they are airing, right?

I almost want them to drag it out so at least I'll know that there will be new futurama to watch.

It's a pretty funny episode:

anyone know the language to translate the alien text? I still haven't gotten around to figureing it all out

Really enjoyed how it follows the simpsons style of running off story getting from point A to point B by going through all sorts of odd strang ways.

Man, I really wish there was more of futurama to come.

Thought I should also mention that July 24th is the last Futurama on Cartoon Network (Home Movies is replacing it).

Probably not a permanent shift though -- I think CN paid quite a bit for the show IIRC -- and they switch out their lineup a lot to keep things fresh. Home Movies was on at first, then off for a while, then back on, etc. I think Futurama will reappear in a few months with some of the new episodes included.

I dont' understand why they're No longer airing Futurama soon...??? I read on gotfuturama.com but all it said was what you said, it never gave a reason. Are they stopping with family guy too??

FG is stopping too. But I'm almost completely sure both are coming back sometime in the very near future (likely September) with new eps (new meaning unaired on CN)

Just to keep things fresh, I would guess. They dink around with Adult Swim quite a bit, it's just more noticable with something like Futurama.
I'm sure if shemp reads this he could shed more light on why/when/if, since he first mentioned this back in April.

They're already running through Futurama for the third time at least. Running it 5 nights a week, they can go through the 4 seasons they have pretty quickly. I imagine it will turn up on TBS or TNT for a while, then probably return to CN once they get the rest of the episodes after Fox finally puts it out of its misery.

And it may be an unpopular opinion, but I think Home Movies blows. I like the idea they're not running Futurama into the ground, but replacing it with that is a terrible idea.

Good episode I like it when the put the Omacron Persi 8 leaders into episodes.

As for CN They are rotating it for a while probably until they get the rest of the seasons ready to brodcast. Which is fine by me because A) I love Home Movies, and B) I already have every episode that CN airs on dvd.

She sunbathes in the nude too (or maybe it was just topless).

Bender's "As usual", and Zoidy's "Bender! If you wanna sleep in the tent tonight, you're welcome to join me and Hermes for a little "just friends" spooning." lines had me .

Funny ep.! Man, I don't know how they get away with that kind of humor at 7 o'clock.

Does anyone know how many total episodes of Futurama there are? Cause I have recorded every ep. on Cartoon Network onto DVD, and the entire last season and current season from FOX. I only seem to have 68 total so far (not including unaired episodes).

7/20- Bend Her
I thought this episode was hilarious. Much better than last weeks. Just imagine how it would feel to know a new season was starting this fall.

maybe cause they have aired every episode back to back at least 2 and probably 3 times now. Some people (like me) stop watching after you know every line.
