BS spam popups
Do we really need popup ads that proclaim: Congrats! You've Won! Claim Your Prize!
Isn't this the worst type of email-grabbing spam generator possible? Ads for products are one thing....

I'm not sure if the ads I've gotten like that were from here or not but if they were dvdtalk generated I agree that they need to go.
I understand this site is expensive to run and I thank the owners for letting us use it for free, but please stick to legitmate ads from retailers or ads for new dvds or cds or other products

Peep, have you cleansed your computer of spyware recently? If not, I suggest using Spybot, found at http://security.kolla.de/.

As mentioned before:
- We don't generally have pop-ups we have pop-unders a much less envasive form of advertising
- We've got an ad network who serves some of the ads in the forum, so sometime we don't know what ads are in the queue to be serverd
- We are planning a subscription option in the next 6 months which will enable you to surf the site AD FREE for an annual fee.

How do you see the membership agreement, once you're already a member, because I don't remember that line when I joined a few years back.
