Good SNES games? Suggestions?
I recently dusted off the old SNES, bought some new controllers, put in Mario, and to my surprise, it worked. I'm hooked again. I have:
-The Adventures of Batman and Robin
-Doom
-Killer Instinct
-Madden '96
-Mega Man X
-Mortal Kombat
-Mortal Kambat II
-NBA Jam: TE
-NHL '96
-NFL QB Club
-Pilotwings
-StarFox
-Super Mario All-Stars
-Super Mario Kart
-Super Mario World
-Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
-Zoop
I plan on getting a Super Game Boy, Super Scope, and Mario Paint, just to have some cool accessories, and Zelda, Super Metroid, Castlevania, the Mario RPG, a Street Fighter game, and the Star Wars games.
My question: what are some fun/good games for the SNES that I don't have, or already plan on getting?

Castlevania IV, Super Ghouls and Ghosts, Contra III, and Super Double Dragon are all classic updates to great 8-bit titles. The first 2 on that list REALLY got me into the SNES. If you are a shooter fan, Axelay, Super R-type and UN Squadron are really nice too... lots of slowdown, but hey its 16-bit!

Definitely get the ones you plan on getting, those are all good picks.
Other stuff worth having:
Rock and Roll Racing
Tetris Attack
Unlike all the RPG listed above, you should be able to find these games for less than $15.

Thanks for the suggestions--I've had some problems finding Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, and the Mario RPG, but have tracked down the Star Wars games at local used shops.
The RPG's like Chrono Trigger, and the Final Fantasy games are pretty easy to find, but, I've found, really expensive. I think Super Ghouls and Ghosts and any of the Nintendo "staple character" titles are next.
For those in the Syracuse area: Microplay on route 31 across from Great Northern Mall is having a sale this weekend. The pricing looked pretty good.
Keep 'em coming! Thanks.

I recommend Uniracers as an off-kilter racing game. It's definitely different, but you get race and stunt tracks, and the game keeps track of all records, so there is always room for improvement.
Other than Mario Kart, Uniracers was the most played game in my group of friends. You should be able to find it cheap too, since no one liked it nearly as much as we did.

if you like the star wars games for SNES, you'd prolly like the Indiana Jones Trilogy game also. the 4 games are similar and, imo, good fun.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions--I've really been rediscovering how FUN the machine is. Looks like I'll be ready for the sale this weekend. Keep the suggestions coming.
Also, is there a definitive year/game for MLB, NHL, NBA, and NFL?
Please let me know your opinions on this--I'm not really happy with my Madden year, and the only thing QB Club is good for is the QB challenge.

Other than the obvious ones already mentioned, you have to get Zombies ate my Neighbors, and Out of this World. Two more truely awesome games that were not huge hits when they were released. The controls on Out of this world are a little tough at first, but the story and puzzles are awesome. It is the only game I ever recorded from begining to end.
