Overseas Best Buy Inc. ????

Has anyone heard anything about this company. On their website they are listed as Overseas Best Buy Inc / 110220volts.com out of Skokie Il. They have a large selection of region free DVD players including Malata & JVC.

I just want some feedback from anyone who has had dealings woth this stor. Would you buy a dvd player from them? How is their customer service? Is the quality of the DVD players on par with other recomended sites like hk-flix & 220electronics? Just general info on their reputation would be great. Thanks!

Yah, they look to be legit. I was in their store a couple of weeks ago. They don't seem to have much walk-in traffic, but when I went in, they had stacks and stacks of dvd players (malata/jvc/panasonic), region-free players, hometheater equipment and other stuff there. Plus there's this little corner with like 6 computers (which I guess is the website server). But they are pretty nice guys. Once I had dropped a UPS package off there (they are also a UPS drop-off location), and they called me to let me know that I had forgotten the zipcode on the package. Plus they have a direct phone# to call, and they are in the US (and not Hong Kong or wherever). I'd buy from them if I needed another region-free player.

By the way, what is 220electronics? It doesn't show up as an actual website.

Thanks for the info!

The actual website is www.220-electronics.com. I forgot the dash.

region free from 220 volt

Yes, I have purchased 2 of their $109 specials(Sampo) and have had excellent
quality and results from both units.
