Evil Dead: Fist full Of Boomstick--PS2 or X-Box?
I would like to know which version has better graphics, etc. I want to pick this game up but first I would like to know if 1 is any better than the other.

I read, I think in the IGN review, that the granier graphics of the PS2 version actually helped the game, since it took the gloss out of it and made it truer to the source material.

The MGS Substance PS2 version is better than xbox version. Graphics are cleaner on the xbox, but at times, it has a lot slowdown. Especially in the first few minutes when its raining.

As for Evil Dead...get the PS2 version. The grainy image makes you feel like you're watching the movie...and to second a point made earlier...this game is fairly bad (can't expect much for $20)...so if you're a die hard fan you'll like it...I did...but if not...save your cash and buy something else.

Need for Speed 2 for PS2 is a different game then the Xbox and Cube versions. I beleive a different publisher? That is the ONLY instance where a PS2 game is better looking then an xbox counterpart, period.
For Evil Dead, get Xbox. Not only does it have better graphics, but it also have a special interview with Bruce Campbell.

Unless you're a die hard Evil Dead/Bruce Campbell fan, these games are not worth the time or money. But I've always bought for the Xbox unless it was a sports game, then I bought PS2.

I actually liked NFS for Xbox. Never played the PS2 version though. But for the most part - multiconsole games are better on Xbox than on PS2. There are a few exceptions. Metal Gear Solid Substance is better on PS2 because of frame rates (which was deliberate) and NFS. Splinter Cell has extra content on the PS2 version - a situation that's usually reversed - but it doesn't look nearly as good on PS2 as it does on Xbox. Then there are a few games that look more or less the same on both PS2 and Xbox... I can't think of any, but I'm sure there are one or two... this Evil Dead game might be one of them. I played it at E3 a few years ago and thought it was terrible. Reviews say it's not worth your time.
