Jane Campion's THE PIANO Special Edition
France's TF1 has released a 2 disc collector's edition of Jane Campion's masterpiece "The Piano." Included in the set is a behind the scenes docu, an interview with Campion, widescreen anamorphic transfer, and interviews with the cast. The cover art is gorgeous as well. Here is a link:

Can anyone confirm this?
I just found a site with pictures of the packaging. I don't understand why such an amazing film didn't get this kind of treatment for its American release.

well...not to burst your buble...but most of the TF1 releases do have forced subs!! ("In the mood for love" being an exception)
....double check before you get it....but I got the info from a friend that I keep in touch from Europe!!
