I believe it was scheduled for a release last Tuesday, but Best Buy has me on backorder now, despite preordering.

As for My Voyage to Italy it looks like it's been delayed... Amazon now has it listed as " Release date to be announced:The release date for this video has not been finalized." Several other online stores also list it not availible/in stock.

My source shows that "The House of Mouse" has cancelled the release of this title. Originally due 4/11/2003, then delayed till 7/1/2003... and no on the butcher block...

That would suck, but would explain why there was no ad for it on GANGS OF NEW YORK, despite one for PERSONAL JOURNEY. I had thought it was pretty good timing to release it on the same day as GANGS.
If this is true, I'm sad. I'll have to watch to see if TCM decides to air it again any time soon.

This was one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
If it really has been canceled, I will be very, very bummed.
I'm, however, hoping that they pobably had some rights issues to work out before being able to release it (there are a lot of film clips in there - a lot of them very old and obscure enough that aquiring their rights may be tricky business).
