This eBay auction right here is what I'm talking about. Are these more than likely legit, or are they more than likely fakes?

They look like cheapo british horror DVDs, not unlike the crappy Brentwood DVD releases over in America.

If they're british, they're PAL. Make sure your TV can play PAL images.

It says they are region-free though.

Yes, but that has nothing to do with the video format.

Regions are a DVD player thing, PAL/NTSC is a TV thing. A disk can be region free but you still can't necessarily play it if you don't have a PAL TV or your player doesn't convert the image from PAL to NTSC.

Oh my God, I didn't even know that one, lol. I've just been into DVDs since this year, so I'm very new, lol.

Welcome to the forum! There's a thread for newcomers at the top of the page in the Talk forum. If you want to know more abour region codes, go to the International forum and read the faq. Doesn't take five minutes.

And, if I may... the 'lol'ing... must stop...

More than likely legit releases. Legit releases of some of the worst low budget horror ever made though. I wouldn't spend more than $5 US on that collection. I believe Boggy Creek II (or it could've been the original) was a MST3K movie.
