Gamestop Credit?
Anyone tell me what kind of credit i can expect to get for the following games:
GBA:
Zelda: A link to the Past
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
High Heat 2003
Driver 2
Xbox:
Madden 2003
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Only reason i ask is because the nearest one is about 45 miles away and was wondering if it was even worth the trip.. All games have boxes and instructions btw..
Thanks in advance..

His suggestion wasn't all that bad. really, how can we make an estimated guess at how much they will give you. 411 is your friend.

Thanks for the info trigger, i never been to a gamestop before so i was just trying to get some ideas from people who might have used them before..
411 works pretty good if you can hear em well enough, since i wear 2 hearing aids i prefer not to deal with people over the phone very much.

Plus, can't you use a relay service?
Also - if you have trouble hearing on the phone, try this model...
It has a good volume control and even a speakerphone on the handset - it gets pretty loud.

I prefer not to..
I have a pretty good phone but one thing i have learned in my life is that when calling a business and asking someone to speak loud and clearly and they dont and they become rather difficult it can be a real pain in the ass and even get me bummed out, i usually only talk to friends and family who understand my situation as opposed to dealing with people who don't..
Thanks for your post tho.

I used to work for a relay service and I have tenitis from all my punk rocking and have trouble hearing people on the phone sometimes... I feel for ya. Anyway - just sell the stuff on half.com and you'll get more money for it. Buy from there too and you'll save more as well.

Thanks for ur input trigger
Theres a bonus to my hearing aids, sometimes they slip out of my ear, when they do that it creates a lil beeping noise.. i have learned how to wiggle my ears and play jingle bells with em since i was a kid..
it also drives people nuts when i just sit and dont do nothing but i move my ear and keep it in a spot where the "beep" goes on and on and on and on.. Its my way of getting back at people who give me crap for something i had no control over in the first place

I'm just guesstimating, but I believe Zelda and Castlevania would fetch around 15 each, High heat and Driver you would get between 5-10 each. Madden I think has dropped to somewhere between 10-15, rollercoaster tycon probably is only worth 7 or 8. Without the computer in front of my I don't know the exact values offhand. If you can scrounge a 3rd xbox game to trade in, you will get an extra $10 in trade-in credit for trading in 3 xbox, ps2, or gamecube games at once.

Mr kicker_of_elves.. a serious answer to your question.
For the following software:
GBA:
Zelda: A link to the Past
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
High Heat 2003
Driver 2
Xbox:
Madden 2003
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Gamestop will give you a gracious $6.37 in store credit, to be used o thier games which are priced $10 above retail to begin with.
The terrorists have already won.

Prob' cause they don't want competitors calling asking how much they would charge and so forth. steps to protect the buisness of giving you penny's on the dollar for what your games are actually worth.

Relay services are great for us folks on 56k who need to make a quick call somewhere and don't feel like disconnecting. Also a great way to talk with friends during classes
