Xenosaga: Episode I $19.99 NEW at Gamestop/Software Etc/Funcoland
Xenosaga: Episode I for Playstation 2 is now on sale for $19.99 Brand New at Gamestop, Funcoland, and Software Etc. stores (not available online). This game retails for $29.99 and actually received pretty good reviews at gamerankings.com.

man.. just a month or so ago I paid $39.99 used for this.. granted I bought 1 more game at $39.99 used and got one for $39.99 free.
Picked up This, Kingdom Hearts and Zone of the Enders 2. 3 games for the price of 2 was a nice sale.

Mine was labeled $30 but rang up $20.
Some people i know on another forum said that they pricematched at BB and used the coupon to get it for $15. Has anyone else ever pricematched without and ad before?

Xenosaga rang up at $30 at my Gamestop also. 
I even told the guy that there were reports that it was ringing up at $20 and he's pretty much ignored it...*******. I'll probably go back there tomorrow and return it.

off topic a little, but i played for about an hour yesterday - familiarizing myself w/ the controls, etc. - and so far, thumbs up. i like it. the cinematics are quite well done and b/c i was expecting a lot of cinematics, i don't mind it. having said that, um... what's the command to skip the cinematics?

Stopped at a gamestop and they said it was $30.00 also. I asked the guy to check and he poked around the computer and said it was $30.00. I really hate going into that store.

I called the Springfield Gamestop and the clerk verified the $19.99 price and had a few in stock. I picked one up with no hassles whatsoever, must be a regional thing. If you get shut down at a particular location, ask for the number of the district manager. Tell that person that some Gamestops are selling it for $19.99. I'm sure a call into corporate will get the price you want...

Went to 2 GameStops, both had them for $29.99. One said he'd match if a GameStop in the area had it for $19.99. Anyone see it for $19.99 in Northern California and where?

i have to say that Kos-Mos is a total badass in the cutscenes... when she first takes on the gnosis, my jaw dropped.
btw, i actually lost a couple of fights w/ the bad guys. that hasn't happened in a japanese rpg for a long time.

I went to a mall in Long Island and the Gamestop had it for $19.99 but was sold out. I went to Software Etc, which is in the same mall and it was $29.99. I told the guy that Gamestop had it for $19.99 and he did not believe me. He said that it was impossible. I told him to call, but he did not want to.

That sucks, maybe people who got them at $19.99 should list the regions so others at least get the benefit of the information.
Last Saturday, I picked up a copy at local Gamestop (Chicago suburb) without any problems. The guy was a bit suprised that it rang up $19.99 though.
