Has anybody here tried Walmart's DVD rental service?
I was checking out Wal-mart's new DVD rental service at their website and was curious about trying it out.
Anybody here tried it yet?
Does anyone know how many distribution centers they have and where they are located? I emailed them but haven't received a response.
I already have Netflix and just wondered how they compare. One thing that I like about Netflix is the fact that they usually have the unedited/unrated versions of movies - Walmart will not carry these as they are never seen in their B&M DVD racks.
Walmart is cheaper than Netflix but it would more than that to get me to switch.

There's a thread in the bargains forum about DVD rentals but I'll answer your question. Stay with Netflix. Walmart is slooooooooooooooow. I don't know where their distribution center is but it takes a week each way for my discs; I live in Boston. I was only able to get 6 rentals before the trial was up. The selection is also horrible.

I signed up about 36 hours ago and nothing has been shipped yet. I already sent them a mail saying I was less than impressed.
I figure if nothing else, maybe I'll get a few free rentals out of it.
