If you can wait, Fable looks freaking amazing.

But until then, morrowind is good.

Or next month Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic comes out

Thin pickings on the XBox. Morrowind is the only one that got decent reviews. RPG's is the PS2's strongpoint and the only reason I bought one.

Knights of the old Republic does look promising for the XBox.

I think as of right now, its gotta be morrowind. The game of the year edition comes out later this Fall. I believe it will include both expansion packs. Question: Will the new version include bug fixes that plagued the first version?

I'm waiting for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, buy.com has a release date of 7/16/03. Its going to be the next game I purchase. I may have to get the logitech wireless controller too.

Also, there is big hype for Fable thats comes out next year.

The best RPG's for Xbox are better/will be better on the PC: Morrowind and Kotor. Hopefully, Fable, a true Xbox exclusive, will live up to the hype.

rgarcia, wow, I had no idea how cool that star wars game was going to sound. I just read the info from that link of yours and it sounds awsome. I am not usually a RPG kind of guy but I will have to have this game.

Not really an rpg, more like Diablo, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is a pretty mindlessly fun dungeon romp.

I like the Dungeon Romp's. What else is there for x-box or PS2. I have played Diablo and Baldur's Gate. I also love Dynasty Warriors 3 and 4, for the PS2

gawd, if you read all the hype about FABLE, then it's the second coming of all that is good and pure. It's a video game for cripes sake. Everything I have read says it can do this, it can do that. Real time, scalable, malleable, graphics up the wahzoo.
All I know is that it sounds/looks like a glorified Shenmue.
With a codename Project Ego ... it cannot possible fail to live up to the hype

a glorified shenmue would be great for me... but i don't think fable is going to be like that.

after all the other molynieux games, my expectations for fable is less than eager. but, i hope it turns out well.

I'm looking forward to Pirates of the Caribbean later this month. A pirate RPG from the makers of Morrowind - sounds good to me!

Another game that will be better on PC. This was originally Sea Dogs 2 before they picked up the Disney license, so it's been in development for quite some time, and does look like a winner.

I give another vote for Baldur's Gate. Morrowind was too slow for me. I'll take hack-n-slash anyday.

I'm playing through Baulder's for the xbox right now. It's the best $9.99 I ever spent. Had I known it was this much fun, I would have paid $50 for it.
