Sex and Lucia is 16/9 (however you are better off getting the R1 LionsGate version, which I own, as it has much better video and a great deal of extras). Times better than Tartan's release.

Of Freaks and Men- yes, 16/9 not so great picture quality but definitely watchable.

The Pornographer- Yes, 16/9 however cut by the British (an uncut version is also available however only from certain adult stores that you could not access on line).

I would recommend highly the uncut French disc if you dont need subs, however, I suspect you do so....

Sex And Lucia, i went to the site. the comparison seems almost identical. The LionGate's disc is better in term of extra but for NTSC and PAL issue (which PAL has more resolution), i'm still deciding.

The Pornographer, quite surprise that it's sold on adult store. is there any news about R1 disc?

As far as Sex and Lucia is concerned I would highly recommend the LionsGate/Palm Pictures disc.......much better menu, and picture is significantly better when compared to the Tartan release.

So far no news on a R1 release of the Pornographer. Highly doubt it we'll see one any time soon.

The Francesca Neri's THE AGES OF LULU is also cut (I refer to the Tartan's release). The only uncut version is here however... unfortunatley, non-anamorphic:

yes, it's too bad that's, in spite of everything, a little scene still be cut (a child scene from the beginning of the movie). but i got it very cheap (just under $5.00). guess it's ok for now. can't stand non-anamorphic disc.

how about Tartan's Trouble Every Day? uncut? anamorphic? french DD5.1?

The film almost entirely lacks dialog (almost....what's in it is mostly English with a bit of French) so you could pick up the French disc and still be satisfied with the results.

The Tartan disc has a very good quality, anamorphic, with subs of course.
