NYC Best Buy--A few games for $10 each
For whatever reason (overstock?), the Best Buy in Chelsea has several games for $10, even though these games list for $20 or $30 on the web site. I saw:
GC Star Wars: Clone Wars
GC Scooby-Doo
PS2 Barbarian
Not the best games out there, but maybe worth $10 to some. I can't confirm these prices for other regions.

Thanks for the info!
Is Clone Wars worth picking up? I enjoyed Starfighter (never played the second one) and Clone Wars seems to be in a similar vein.
illennium - is it just me or have you noticed the abundant amount of items that people buy at the Chelsea Best Buy. I swear everytime I go in there almost all of the customers are carrying around like ten DVDs and CDs.

They do sell tons of stuff. I get off the subway right there at 23rd ST. on the way home from work every day, and often stop in. BTW, do they have the Zeppelin DVD in stock yet?

At least their prices are somewhat reasonable. When I go inside Virgin MegaStore and see people carrying bucketloads of CDs and DVDs at MSRP, I go into cardiac arrest. Especially since there's a Circuit City next door that carries most of the popular new releases for half the price.
By the way, I didn't see the Led Zeppelin DVD, though I wasn't looking. They had the CD though.

Yeah, I never get why people continue to shop at Virgin. Every so often I'll buy something from them but only if the price is good. 18.99 for a CD? What are we living in, 1988?
The one bad thing about that Best Buy is that they don't get video game releases on time. I went there on the Tuesday that GTA: VC came out and a few of us were waiting in line when an employee came out and informed us that VC wouldn't be in till Wednesday. It was a good thing that I already picked up my copy at Toys R Us (3 for 2 sale) minutes earlier.

I picked both of these up yesterday. The CSR had to manually override the prices to $9.99 cuz they still ring up at $29.99 and made me fill out one of those stupid forms where u get the yellow receipt. Both of these games still show up as $29.99 on BestBuy.com so this deal is probably store exclusive.
Thanks for the heads up on this.
