How important is the inputting the password from the previous game. I played it and beat it but never wrote down the password..now I don't have the game anymore.

it lets you know the difference between the levels of bronze, silver, and gold.

I did gold... took a better part of an hour to transmit all that stuff.

I believe gold transfers everything, names, items, exp, levels, etc.

While bronze does just names?

i don't think it is too important...

I am not to the point where it matters yet, but I believe without the password you will get standardized versions of the GS characters. So, if you had extra Djinn or bought/found some really cool items, you most likely won't have them, just more generalized stuff.
