Anyone see the latest Jewel video?

What a sellout!! Usually I'm not one to brand artists of selling out, but jeezuz if she wasn't already Jewel you would think she's just another manufactured pop star. Nice bod though.

Umm... Did you not notice that it's a parody of selling out that's a sell out itself at the same time? I love the levels! The video's great.

Why is it that an artist tries something different they're "selling out"?

She's a sell out because her career has stalled and now she wants to try something new to...oh, I don't know...maybe make some money??

That being said, i have always been a fan of Jewel. Not necessarily her music, but of Jewel herself. This video was a special treat for me then.

And the song didn't really seem that bad. i would have to listen to it a couple more times to see how I really feel about it, but after reading about it last week in a magazine, I expected a lot worse.

If you think she sold out , you're really dumb lol

The point of the song/video is to criticize today's industry.

Is allowing the song to be used in commercials for women's razors and her shakin' that ass with Beyonce at Divas Duets part of her industry critique too? Pretty subversive of her.
