Delicatessen R2 vs ...?

I'm tempted to order Delicatessen from Benson's World as they've got it for a measly £9.99/$16.00, but I'd like to know first if anyone can comment on the quality of the disc, or if there's a superior version available elsewhere?

I am more than happy with mine. The transfer is good, though not superb, and the English subs are very well done (some British English is noticeable).

cdwow.com
dvdoo.com

both had the disc for 9.95$ delivered to the US....check them out!

Yes, the transfer is okay, but quite grainy. Very watchable, regardless of this.

I had the Reg 2 (bought from cd-wow.com, US site is cd-wow.net) but traded it on as I didn't like the film that much.

As far as I know this is the best edition of Delicatessen but you need to master some french to enjoy it. Otherwise I agree with Squirrel God and pro-bassoonist.

I'll also go on record saying that this Delicatessen release is more than adequate.

Can someone confirm that shipping is still free to the states? My checkout screen (I'm at the screen to enter my CC number) is showing a 159 kr Forsendelse charge. Is shipping only free on certain items (I've got I Kina Spiser De Hunde in my cart)?

Yup, there is the shipping charge, which makes prices very unattractive...
